I'm not receiving text messages on my OpenPhone number
If you're experiencing issues with receiving text messages on your OpenPhone number, there are a couple of things to check for.
Are you expecting a text message as a method of verification? Some services don't allow virtual numbers like OpenPhone to be used for authentication for security reasons. Learn more about this here.
Did you opt into text messages from a company? You won't be able to receive texts with a recipient that uses short codes.
Was this a recently ported number? Occasionally, SMS functionality can take 24-48 hours after a port has been complete. If you're having issues with texts after a port, please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll escalate this with our porting team.
