Want to make sure you’re seeing the latest and greatest version of OpenPhone? Here’s how you can across your devices.
The Mac app will automatically look for updates and notify you when an update is available. However, you can also check for updates yourself by:
Opening the Mac app and clicking “OpenPhone” from the top menu on your Mac.
Then select “Check for Updates”.
If you currently have the latest version of OpenPhone, you’ll get a message stating you’re already up to date.
If you leave OpenPhone open in a browser window and we push out a new update, you’ll see a message to refresh your window to see the latest version of our web app.
Using an iPhone or iPad? You can ensure you have the latest version of OpenPhone by updating your settings to automatically download app updates on your mobile device (your device will automatically update to the latest version of every app you've downloaded):
1. Open the Settings app and then select "App Store".
2. Toggle on "App Updates".
On Android devices, you can set up automatic updates for individual apps on your device:
Open the Google Play Store app.
Tap "My apps & games".
Select the app you want to update.
Tap "Enable auto update".
From your mobile device, you can also follow either of these links to see you have the latest version of OpenPhone and update if needed.
